You can make a beef rendang menu as an idea for preparing sacrificial meat for Eid al-Adha celebrations.

Making beef rendang is actually quite easy and can be cooked using a rice cooker.

To make beef rendang, you only need approximately 1 hour.

Here’s how to make tender beef rendang, quoted from Sajiansedap.grid.id:

Ingredients

Material

  • 500 grams of beef shank
  • 3 cm galangal, bruised
  • 3 stalks of lemongrass, take the white, bruise
  • 1 turmeric leaf, tied in a knot
  • 5 lime leaves, remove the leaf bones
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 pieces deaf
  • 2 cm cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 60 grams coconut serundeng, puree
  • 600 ml thick coconut milk from 2 coconuts
  • 1500 ml liquid coconut milk

Manufacturing Steps

  1. Cut the beef into the size you want.

  2. Puree and mix all the spice ingredients.

  3. Then put all the ingredients into the Rice cooker.

  4. Don’t forget to add salt and sugar according to your wishes.

  5. Turn on and raise the rice cooker button.

  6. Then stir occasionally, so that it cooks evenly.

  7. Once it looks cooked, then transfer it to the pan.

  8. Lastly, sprinkle with fried onions to make it even more delicious.
