How to Make Attractive Sekoteng Jelly for Sales Ideas


KOMPAS.com – Sekoteng is a warm drink that is suitable to be served during the rainy season, made from ginger as the main ingredient.

Jelly can be added to sekoteng to modify the recipe, apart from that, sekoteng jelly can be used as a selling idea.

Sekoteng jelly is made from palm fruit, jelly, essence, pink coloring, ginger, cinnamon, salt and sugar.

Material:

  • 150 grams of palm fruit
  • 1 tsp pink coloring
  • 1 large packet of jelly, with essence
  • 100 grams of granulated sugar
  • 700 ml water (for boiling jelly)
  • 200 grams of ginger
  • 2 liters of water
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt
  • 225 grams of granulated sugar
  • 3 cm cinnamon

1. Boil the palm fruit with pink food coloring until tender. Remove and cool. Slice the fronds thinly lengthwise. Set aside.

2. Cook the jelly with granulated sugar and water until it boils. Lift. Add essence, stir well. Pour into mold. Freeze.

3. Grill or grill the ginger until fragrant and wilted. Peel the skin, then bruise it.

Boil with water, salt, sugar and cinnamon until it boils and the water turns yellowish. Remove and strain. Serve warm with fruit and jelly.
