How to Make Anti-Tat Marble Steamed Cake


KOMPAS.com – Steamed sponge cake is a traditional cake that is often served for events such as social gatherings or other celebrations.

You can make anti-roll marble steamed sponge cake made from egg yolks, egg whites, SP, Ovalet, soda water, wheat flour and granulated sugar.

Material I:

  • 3 eggs
  • 300 grams of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp cake emulsifier (SP)
  • 300 grams of wheat flour
  • 125 ml sweet soda water
  • 2 tsp chocolate paste

Material II:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 egg whites
  • 300 grams of granulated sugar
  • 375 grams of wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Ovalette
  • 300 ml sweet soda water
  • 1 tsp chocolate paste

How to make marble steamed sponge cake:

1. Material I: Beat eggs, granulated sugar and SP until thick and stiff, add flour, beat until smooth.

2. Pour in the sweet soda water, shake again until smooth and smooth. Divide the mixture into two then add chocolate paste to one mixture, mix well.

3. Prepare a steamed sponge cake mold with a paper cup and heat the steamer. Put the mixture into the mold, alternately until it reaches 3/4 of the mold.

4. Steam for 30 minutes over high heat until cooked, lift and remove from the mold.

6. Material II: Beat egg yolks, egg whites and sugar until fluffy.

7. Add the flour, ovalette and soda water alternately, stir until smooth.

8. Divide the dough into two parts, add chocolate paste to one part of the dough.

9. Put the mixture alternately in a steamed sponge cake mold that has been lined with baking paper.

10. Steam in a hot steamer for 15 minutes.
