Ginger Milk Coffee Recipe, Warm Drink Idea from Instant Coffee


KOMPAS.com – Want to drink more flavorful coffee with a warming effect? You can make ginger milk coffee.

Different from ginger coffee, this recipe uses sweetened thick. To make it fresher, add fresh ginger.

The following is the recipe and how to make ginger milk coffee at home, quoted from the book “Appetizing Warm Drink” by Kristiyani Puspitarti (2019) published by CV Sinergi Pustaka Applied Competence.

Material:

  • 2 tsp instant coffee
  • 100 gr fresh ginger (grilled until aromatic, peel the skin, bruise)
  • 100 ml sweet thick
  • 500 ml water
  1. Pour water into a pan to boil, then add the bruised ginger. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes until you can smell the ginger, then strain.
  2. Add instant coffee and sweetened condensed coffee, stir until smooth. Pour into serving glasses, serve immediately.
