Quoting The Cognate (26/3) Nabeez or Nabidh or Nabidh is one of the favorite drinks of the Prophet. This drink is made from dates or raisins soaked in a bottle of water.
Nabeez was even discussed for consumption of Muslims because it was liked by the Prophet and consumed regularly. Nabeez was even recorded in the authentic hadith that was narrated by Muslim No. 4971:
Ibn ‘Abbas said that Nabeez was prepared by the Messenger of Allah at night and would be drunk in the morning, at night, keeping the morning until the afternoon. If there is anything left, the Messenger of Allah will give it to the slaves or pouring it to others.
Nabeez is also touted as a concoction of natural alkaline water that can help balance the body’s pH. Nabeez consumption can help remove dirt left from the metabolic process in the body.

If consuming it regularly, Nabeez can provide the properties of digestion because of the fiber content in dates that are so high. Nabeez is also recommended to be consumed during the month of Ramadan because it can help hydrate the body after fasting all day.
Nabeez consumption at dawn is said to provide longer energy so it is not easily weak when running fasting. Nabeez is easy to make at home, the ingredients only need dates and a bottle of water.
How to make Nabeez, first prepare 3-4 dates for 1 glass of water. Add water and dates in a closed container and soak for all night. Nabeez soaked at night can be enjoyed the next morning.
But there are some things to consider from Nabeez consumption. Nabeez is not soaked for too long because there will be a fermentation process and produce alcohol. Nabeez is only worth drinking a maximum of 12 hours after soaking.
