2. Spinach

Dietitian Courtney D. Angelo says green vegetables are very good for slimming the stomach.
“Spinach is rich in fiber, which absorbs more nutrients and helps digestion. Spinach is also high in vitamin K, which can sometimes support weight loss, including visceral fat (belly fat),” said Angelo as reported by Eat This, Not That!.
3. Mushrooms
Mushrooms are very popular with vegans and non-vegans. Mushrooms are often used as a meat substitute because they have similar fiber and texture.

“The main compound is sulforaphane, which works by reducing cytokines and NF-kB in the body. This substance encourages the inflammatory process. By reducing inflammation, the body is better able to shed weight and work efficiently in every other area as well,” explains Trista Best, expert diet.
Apart from that, broccoli also contains ‘ammunition’ to shed belly fat such as vitamin C, calcium and chromium.
6. Carrots
Carrots seem trivial, especially since this vegetable is found in many dishes. However, carrots will support a weight loss program, especially reducing the stomach.
