KOMPAS.com – If children are bored with processed vegetables, they can be made into satay and then fried like vegetable tempura.
Fried vegetable satay is made with beans, eggplant, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, while the vegetable dressing mixture includes wheat flour, chicken eggs, coconut milk and salt.
Fried vegetable satay can be served with chili or tomato sauce, here is the complete recipe.

Material:
- 100 grams of green beans, cut into pieces @ 5 cm
- 50 grams of eggplant, cut into small cubes measuring 5 cm
- 50 grams of carrots, cut into small cubes measuring 5 cm
- 50 grams of shiitake mushrooms, cut into small long pieces
- 10 satay sticks
- Enough cooking oil, for frying
Dressing dough ingredients:
- 50 grams of wheat flour
- 1/2 chicken egg, beaten with a fork
- 100 ml coconut milk
- Salt to taste

How to make fried vegetable satay:
1. Dressing dough: Mix the flour and eggs, then pour in the coconut milk little by little until finished, continuing to stir. Add salt, stir again until smooth.
2. Skewer the vegetables and mushrooms into 10 skewers.
3. Heat the oil, dip the satay into the dressing mixture. Fry until cooked, remove from heat.
4. Serve.
