DENPASAR, BALIPOST. com – The Denpasar Festival (Denfest) will be held again on 22-25 December 2024. This annual event is always eagerly awaited by the public and tourists because there are many different culinary delights that can be enjoyed, one of which is traditional culinary delights.
One of the interesting traditional culinary places that you can visit is Waroeng Pitoe. This place offers typical menus such as lawar babi and soto pork which are local favorites. Vishnu, the owner, said he has been selling since 2023.
The price of the package menu, which consists of tipat lawar pork and pork soto, is IDR 25,000. If you just want to enjoy pork lawar, just pay IDR 20,000 per portion. You can also visit their stall location on Jalan Pulau Saelus Gg. X No.5, Sesetan, South Denpasar.
Talking about traditional menus, try visiting Warung Tekor, owned by Ida Ayu Agung Eka Stuti. This stall was founded in 2015 and is located in Kertalangu Cultural Village.
The name “Tekor” itself refers to the traditional Balinese eating mat, which is used to serve typical Balinese food at this place. The atmosphere in this stall is very traditional, complete with a Balinese kitchen and typical cooking utensils that add authenticity to your dining experience.
Some of the menus offered at Warung Tekor include chicken tekor rice (Rp. 25,000), squid tekor rice (Rp. 35,000), goat tekor rice (Rp. 40,000), and grilled lamb ribs rice (Rp. 45,000). At Denfest this time, Warung Tekor only serves two mainstay menus, namely chicken eggplant rice and squid eggplant rice.
The final choice which is no less interesting is Laluna Home Kitchen which sells Blayag Singaraja and Nasi Jinggo. This stall, owned by Gung Sofia, will open in 2023.
Blayag is a typical Singaraja food served with traditional flavors. Apart from blayag, this place also sells jinggo rice and drinks such as pandan tea.
Usually, Blayag Singaraja is sold during Car Free Day or through online ordering. The menu prices here are very affordable, starting from IDR 7,000 to IDR 20,000.
