This research was conducted by the Spector Team, as the Professor of Genetic Epidemiology in King’s College, England. His team conducted a study of 80,000 people in the UK, and examined their meal time.
This research was conducted for a nutritional company called Zoe, and its complete discovery was not widely distributed. But there are some things conveyed by the Spector team. One of them can eat at 21:30 at night, and maintain their healthy diet, and does not have an effect on weight gain.
The key lies in the eating pattern of breakfast that is in the afternoon. Usually breakfast people around 07.00 – 10.00 am. But for those whose breakfast is late, they usually just eat at 11:30 noon.
Then this eating pattern is combined with a 14 -hour food fasting method, which has been proven healthy and good for encouraging the body’s metabolism. So people can eat during the day, then just eat again at 21:30 at night.
“Actually, the view of eating is not too late is healthier, based on studies from a group of young people, who are not accustomed to dining windows like this,” said the team.

This study shows that there is only a little advantage from a fast dinner. So the team believes that eating late at night is not as scary as imagined.
Team studies also explained that those who eat late and fast for 14 hours a day, have more energy than those who eat in normal time.
“Our digestive system, similar to us has a Circadian Rhythm pattern that requires time to rest from food. But only people can determine when they have to rest from food, depending on their activities. Some people often eat at night because they have a lot of work and children, so they don’t need to feel guilty about it,” continued the team.
But the team still reminded people not to snack excessively at night, breakfast too fast, or sleep two hours after eating so that the body remains healthy.
