Easy Way to Make Homemade Yeast from Raisins

Material

  • 100 grams of raisins
  • 250 ml water
  • 1-2 tablespoons organic honey or sugar
  • Sterile glass jar (500 ml)

How to make yeast from raisins

  1. Wash the raisins and rinse them with clean water several times until the water doesn’t feel soapy, then put the raisins in a sterile jar.
  2. Prepare clean water, add honey or sugar to it, then pour it into the jar containing the raisins until it covers all the raisins.
  3. Cover the jar with a clean cloth to allow air circulation, place it in a warm place for 3-5 days, and make sure to stir it every day. If you see bubbles, it means the yeast is ready.
