What is Dubai Chocolate?

Recently, Dubai Chocolate has gone viral on TikTok and other social media. This sweet snack has become a hot topic of conversation because of its appetizing appearance and unique and interesting filling.

Reporting from the CNN page, this viral Dubai chocolate is not just an ordinary snack, but a culinary experience that invites many people to try it.

What is Dubai Chocolate made from? This chocolate is filled with unusual fillings, such as filo pastry, vanilla custard, and tea and biscuits. This unusual combination makes this chocolate a new trend that is attracting the attention of many people.

This viral Dubai chocolate was first made by Fix Dessert Chocolatier, a chocolate shop in Dubai founded by Sarah Hamouda in 2021. Inspired by the founder’s wishes during pregnancy, Hamouda created chocolate that was different from usual.

The popularity of this viral Dubai chocolate soared after an ASMR video of Maria Vehera, a food influencer on TikTok, who enjoyed the chocolate in her car went viral.

The video has been viewed more than 56 million times, and many people have started making reaction videos or trying to replicate this chocolate recipe at home.

Added from the page The Kitchn, Dubai chocolate made from creamy pistachios and knafeh, a typical Middle Eastern food, has become a big trend on TikTok. This chocolate was previously only available in Dubai until a shop in New York started importing this chocolate.

The Uniqueness of Dubai Chocolate

The specialty of viral Dubai chocolate lies in its unique filling and design. Each chocolate bar is handcrafted and decorated with a different colored design.

Several typical Middle Eastern flavors such as dates, karak (spiced tea), and knafeh also enrich the taste of this chocolate.

In fact, flavor inspiration from Dubai’s expatriate community is also visible in variants such as “Mind your own Buiscoff,” a white chocolate filled with crunchy Lotus cheesecake, and “Cereously Chewsy,” a milk chocolate filled with Nutella brownie, custard and cereal.

What is Dubai Chocolate made from that makes it so special? Not only are there a variety of fillings, but also creative combinations of flavors that pamper your taste buds.

The high demand for this viral Dubai chocolate means the product runs out quickly every day. At a price of $20 or around IDR 309,000 per bar, Fix Chocolatier only sells 500 chocolate bars per day through food delivery services in Dubai.

Despite this, many fans complained that stocks were limited, and some even bought these chocolates at higher prices on the black market.
