Energy drinks are unhealthy drinks, even though they claim to be able to add energy to the body. This drink is known to contain sugar, caffeine, sodium and acid. In 100 grams of energy drinks, it is known that there are 12 grams of sugar content.

Garima, as a nutrition expert, explained that the caffeine content in energy drinks can cause dehydration and dull skin. Then, the sugar content can increase oxidative stress in the body.

This effect can be felt if you consume energy drinks too often. If this happens, the skin will age quickly. Instead of consuming energy drinks, you should choose coffee or tea without sugar.

2. Alcoholic Drinks

Alcoholic drinks are also a diet that is bad for health. One effect can speed up the aging process. Therefore, you should avoid consuming alcohol if you want to stay young.

Garima states that these alcoholic drinks can increase inflammatory cells, causing the skin to become dehydrated and worsen. In a study published in Northwestern Medicine, regularly consuming alcoholic drinks for 4 years can accelerate biological aging.

Apart from that, alcoholic drinks also contain ethanol which can cause decreased consciousness. This content can trigger the emergence of cancer.

Alcoholic drinks should be avoided if you want to stay healthy. It’s best to switch to healthy drinks, such as water, tea, and others.
