KOMPAS.com – Travel perpetrators are prohibited from bringing meat into Australia, especially raw ones. This rule is written in the 2015 Biological Security Law and the 2014 Regulatory Power Law (Standard Provisions) in Australia.

The trip perpetrators are required to report their luggage to the customs and throw the goods that are prohibited from entering.
Be careful if you do not claim to be honest with luggage at Customs. Because, the luggage will be examined directly by the biological resilience officer.
In addition, X -ray machines and sniffer dogs may also be used to ensure luggage.

If you do not report or make a misleading statement, luggage will be confiscated.
The perpetrators of the trip can also be sentenced to sanctions such as fines or even prison sentences for criminal violations.
If it is proven to bring meat into Australia, the perpetrators of the trip will be subject to fine sanctions according to the rules.
In some cases, raw meat and processed low risk will be returned after the inspection.
However, if it is considered to have a high risk, the perpetrators of the trip must pay the fees to export it or throw the item into the available containers.
The fine brought meat into Australia via the entrance to the Dandara, was charged according to the number of units starting at 330 Australian dollars (AUD) or around Rp 3.3 million.

The amount of the fine is valid from early November 2024. Folding applies according to the number of units or the number of goods carried.
If the perpetrators of the trip fail to report goods that are known to be at high risk of biological security, it is considered to violate Article 532 (1) or Article 533 (1).
The number of fines increased to six units of fines by 1,980 AUD (around Rp. 20 million) or 12 units of fines of 3,960 AUD (around Rp. 40 million), depending on the risk of the item.
If a traveler hides goods that are not conditional that are not prohibited or imported to Australia, the penalty increases to 20 units of fines of 6,600 AUD (around Rp. 67 million).
