Crispy Fried Broccoli Recipe for Side Dishes


KOMPAS.com – If you are bored with the same old processed broccoli, you can cook it with flour to make crispy broccoli.

Crispy broccoli is made with garlic, pepper powder, wheat flour, cornstarch, rice flour, baking powder and ice water.

Crispy broccoli can be served with Bangkok chili sauce, see the recipe for crispy broccoli that is easy to make.

Material:

  • 1 medium sized broccoli stem
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 100 grams of wheat flour
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 50 grams of rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 225 ml ice water
  • Sufficient cooking oil
  • Ready-to-eat Bangkok chili sauce to taste

1. Cut the broccoli into florets.

2. Mix garlic, pepper, salt, sugar, wheat flour, cornstarch, rice flour and baking powder, stir well. Pour in the ice water slowly while stirring until smooth.

3. Dip the broccoli in the flour mixture until evenly coated.

4. Heat oil, fry broccoli until brownish yellow. Remove and serve with Bangkok chili sauce.
