Cholesterol is naturally produced by the liver and can be found in several types of food, such as eggs, seafood and meat.

There are two types of cholesterol in the body, namely low density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or good cholesterol.

Banana is a yellow fruit that is rich in vitamin B12. This fruit is also rich in potassium, fiber, vitamin C, all of which are good for maintaining heart health and can fight cholesterol. The inulin content in it can also help the body control cholesterol levels, so that they remain stable.

Bananas can be eaten whole, or processed into juice. Banana juice is also said to be the fastest cholesterol reducer.
