KOMPAS.com – Clear spinach can be an option when you want to eat a soupy dish with a good taste simple and the seasoning is not too sharp.
If you want it to be more spiced and fragrant, apart from key ginger, you can add galangal that has been sliced or coarsely ground.
If you don’t have galangal, you can replace it with a few basil leaves to add flavor.

- 1/2 bunch spinach
- 2 sweet corns (cut into 2 or 3 parts)
- 3 1/2 cups water
Seasoning ingredients:
- 3 cloves red onion (finely chopped)
- 3 cm ghee (coarsely ground)
- 1/2 red tomato (cut)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp or to taste salt
- 1 tablespoon or to taste granulated sugar
- Heat water in a pan, add corn and all the spices. Cook until it boils.
- Add spinach, cook and stir for a few moments so that it is not too soft. Then lift, serve.
