Chocolate Almond Cookies Recipe for Children’s Snacks


KOMPAS.com – Chocolate cookies are almost everyone’s favorite snack, they are even more delicious with almonds.

Almond chocolate cookies are made with low protein wheat flour, baking soda, salted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugarvanilla extract, eggs, chocolate chips, and almonds.

Almond chocolate cookies are quite easy to make, store them in before baking freezer for 24 hours.

Material:

  • 350 grams of low protein wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 227 grams salted butter, room temperature
  • 175 grams of fine granulated sugar
  • 175 grams brown sugar (brown sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 350 grams chocolate chips
  • 250 grams almonds, coarsely chopped

Tools used:

  • Electronic mixer with paddles
  • Plastic cling film

How to make chocolate almond cookies:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2. With an electronic mixer, beat the butter, vanilla extract and sugar in a bowl until pale and pale in color creamy.

3. Add the eggs one by one while beating until well mixed.

4. Add flour, salt, baking soda which has been sifted, shake until smooth.

5. Enter chocolate chips and almonds, stir well.

6. Pour the mixture over plastic cling film, shape it into a long shape like a sausage with a diameter of two to three centimeters (according to taste). Wrap it in plastic.

7. Keep it inside freezer for 24 hours. Cut the dough into 0.5 centimeter thin pieces.

8. Place on a baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper.

9. Bake for 10 minutes, or until browned. Remove and cool on a cooling rack.

10. Serve or put in an airtight box, store in the refrigerator. Biscuits will stay crispy for 14 days.
