Chicken Soto Enters CNN’s List of the Most Delicious Soups in the World


KOMPAS.com – Soto ayam is on the list of the 20 most delicious soups in the world (World’s Best Soups). CNN TravelSunday (17/11/2024).

The page continues, this dish uses various spices, including turmeric, star anise, cinnamon, lemongrass and lime leaves so it has a rich aroma and taste. The added boiled egg yolk also adds richness to the taste.

Soto ayam is also popular in other countries, including Singapore, Malaysia and Suriname.

“Eat this dish with a sprinkling of fried onions, lime and sliced ​​red chilies,” reads the description on the page.

Meanwhile, in first place is Banga from Nigeria. This soup is made from fruit from the oil palm tree, and adds catfish, beef, and seafood (processed sea catch) dry.
