Cheese Sago Recipe, Christmas Cookies with just 6 ingredients


KOMPAS.com – Apart from pineapple, cheese sago can also be used as a snack hampers Homemade Christmas.

Sago cheese is usually a little crumbly, and melts in your mouth when eaten. Cheese cheddar used to give a slightly crunchy texture.

The following is the recipe and how to make homemade cheese sago, according to the book “Economical Pastries” Ambarini’s work (2015) published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama.

Material:

  • 300 grams margarine
  • 225 grams of powdered sugar
  • 200 grams of cheese cheddar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 30 grams of powdered milk full cream
  • 475 grams of sago flour
  1. Mix margarine, powdered sugar, egg yolks, cheese and powdered milk. Beat until soft. Divide the dough into four parts.
  2. Divide the flour into four parts, add one part of the flour to one part of the dough, then stir until smooth. Pour the mixture into a plastic triangle with a star-shaped syringe at one end.
  3. Coat the baking pan with margarine, press the plastic triangle gently so that the sago cheese mixture comes out of the tip of the syringe mold onto the surface of the pan. Make a circle shape or according to taste until the dough is finished.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the oven, bake at 150 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes until cooked. Remove from the oven, wait a few moments before putting the cheese sago into the jar.
