“We are very enthusiastic about presenting Subway Black Edition, a menu with the first natural charcoal bread for Subway in the world, as part of its 3rd anniversary celebration in Indonesia. “This menu is a form of our commitment to continue to provide premium and different taste innovations for loyal customers,” said Wawa Suwanto, Marketing General Manager of PT Sari Sandwich Indonesia, the official license holder for the Subway brand in Indonesia.
Wawa added, with premium beef such as roast beef and beef pastrami, as well as special bread made from activated charcoal, it believes Subway Black Edition will provide a new, unforgettable experience.
“We are also pleased to offer this charcoal bread as an additional option on all Subway menus, giving customers more flexibility to get creative with their favorite sandwiches,” he said.
Subway Black Edition is made from specially selected natural charcoal, providing a unique deep black color without sacrificing taste. This bread still has a soft texture and delicious taste that is perfect for complementing a variety of customers’ favorite sandwiches.
In addition, the natural ingredients of charcoal provide a light and balanced taste experience, creating a new sensation in every bite.
This black bread can be combined with Subway’s newest menu, namely Meat Deli, which consists of premium cuts of roast beef and beef pastrami, which are famous for their soft texture, strong smoky taste and distinctive touch of pepper.
Available in 6-inch and footlong options, Meat Deli is perfect for meat lovers and sandwich fans.
These menus will be available at all Subway restaurants in Indonesia since October 2, 2024.
