IGF is a type of hormone found in milk. It is known that IGF-1 is a growth hormone, where this hormone can cause inflammation.
In some people who consume too much milk, the IGF hormone will increase and cause skin problems. One type of inflammation on the face that they experience is acne.
2. Higher Insulin Levels
Milk can play a role in releasing excess amounts of insulin in the body. However, these higher insulin levels can lead to increased sebum production.
Too much sebum on the face will eventually clog the pores. When pores are clogged, acne can appear and become inflamed.
