Dr. Diana revealed that if you can choose carbohydrates according to your preferences, even white rice can still be consumed. Carbohydrates can fill two-thirds of half the plate for normal portions, and a quarter of carbohydrates for portions for obese people.

A healthier option can be replaced with brown rice. This friendly doctor revealed, “If you want white rice, that’s fine, but if you want to replace it with brown rice, that’s fine because actually brown rice has not been completely broken down, so the fiber is higher, the vitamin B is also high. Please consume brown rice, but come back again (pay attention) portion.”

For men, rice carbohydrates can be consumed in one small bowl of 150 grams. Meanwhile, women can only do half.

“For example, in restaurants there is a choice of crispy fried chicken or grilled chicken. Using a cooking method that adds flour, like making it crispy, will definitely have more calories. So it’s better to take grilled chicken or chicken that is often found in food stalls, such as stir-fried chicken in soy sauce, which is fine,” said Dr. Diana.

For side dish options like chicken, don’t just breasts. Thigh options according to Dr. Diana can also be consumed but the skin can be removed first.
