Damba Resto is a restaurant that provides various typical Indonesian menus, ranging from meatballs and chicken noodles, rib soup, penyet chicken, oxtail soup, fried rice, to fried bakwan. Longing for the Motherland makes the dishes at Damba Resto often sought after by Indonesian Hajj pilgrims.
BPKH Limited Director Sidiq Haryono said that the decision to invest in Damba Resto had been carefully considered, in terms of risks and potential benefits.
“BPKH Limited’s investment in Damba Resto has gone through a prudent process because we can control the risk and then optimally profit from it. God willing, we are sure that this will be quite profitable and will become income for BPKH Limited,” said Sidiq, Wednesday (10/7 /2024).
“We consider that the investment in Damba Resto is quite strategic because its location is in the heart of Makkah, on the 4th floor of the Zamzam Tower,” he continued.
All profits generated by BPKH Limited from Damba Resto will be returned to the Hajj finances, so that they can be enjoyed by Indonesian pilgrims going on Hajj the following year.
Apart from material benefits, Damba Resto is also a place to introduce authentic Indonesian culinary delights to congregants from various corners of the world.
“If pilgrims from Hajj or Umrah around the world enter Damba Resto, they can feel the atmosphere or culture of Indonesia, and I think this is quite strategic for us,” said Sidiq.
