Blanket fried chicken recipe, savory side dish and crispy ideas


KOMPAS.com – Who can refuse the delicacy of fried chicken with crispy flour wrapping? The following fried chicken dishes offer a savory sensation in each bite.

Chicken meat is tender because it is cooked using a presto pan, and wrapped with flour adds to the savory taste and crispy when fried.

Blanket fried chicken ingredients:

  • 1 chicken (cut 10 parts)
  • 1500 milliliters of water

Fine seasoning ingredients:

  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 2 centimeters of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Seasoning ingredients:

  • 80 grams of tapioca flour
  • 80 grams of tangmien flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of refined sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of the remaining chicken stew seasoning
  • 600 milliliters of water
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons of cooking oil

How to make a blanket fried chicken:

1. Clean the chicken pieces then coat it with a spice. Cook the chicken in a presto pan with 1,500 milliliters of water for 45 minutes, then remove and drain.

2. Mix tapioca flour, tangmien, sugar, and chicken spices until evenly distributed, then boil over low heat while stirring until thickened. Then continue the blender until smooth.

3. Add the egg yolk and cooking oil to the boiled flour mixture, then blender again until smooth. Set aside for dip material.

4. Dip a piece of chicken into a dip, then continue fried in hot oil until brownish. After that, remove and serve while warm.
