In the Koran and Hadith, the names of foods recommended for Muslims consumed. This food contains a myriad of nutrients that are good for health.

Consuming it during Ramadan can also be the right choice to increase energy and stamina. The type turns out to be not only dates, but also the following fruits and other foods.

1. Olive

Olive has long been a favorite food of the perpetrators living a healthy life. Information about olives and olive oil turned out to be listed in the Koran and Hadith.

“… which is turned on with oil from a blessed tree, (ie) olive trees that grow not in the east and not in the west, whose oil (only) is almost illuminated, although not touched by fire …” (QS 24:35)

“Eat olives and hair oil with olives. Because it is from a blessing tree.” [Tirmidzi]

Consumption of olives when fasting is strongly recommended to prevent excessive fatigue and weakness. Eating olives can maintain blood health because it increases iron levels while maintaining energy levels stable.

Eating olives is also called good to improve the immune system. Other benefits are even good for cognitive development.

2. Dates

“There is a tree between trees similar to a Muslim (in goodness). The leaves do not fall out. What is that? Rasulullah SAW itself said,” it is a date palm tree “.

Dates are mentioned in the Koran and Hadith because of the healthy benefits and blessings of consuming them. Dates that are rich in vitamins and protein are good for consumption at dawn and iftar.

The iron content of dates also makes this soft sweet fruit effectively prevent fatigue and dizziness during the day which is often experienced during fasting. Eating dates is also able to nourish the digestive system.

This sunnah food was mentioned by the Prophet Muhammad as a fruit that was revealed from heaven. He said, “Eat the fig! If you say, ‘There is a fruit that is revealed from heaven,’ then I can say, ‘This is the fruit, because actually the fruit of heaven without seeds.’ Therefore, eat, because this tin can cure hemorrhoids and gout. ” [Sahih Bukhari].

Figs are a source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber that are good for the body. Consuming it is good to prevent constipation, improve the digestive system, to nourish and prevent heart disease due to the content of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

4. Pumpkin

According to Tirmidhi’s hadith, the Prophet Muhammad likes pumpkins. Consuming it regularly is good for health. Pumpkin maintains heart health while preventing cancer because of the antioxidant content and anticancer compounds in it.

Pumpkin is also famous for its benefits to lower blood pressure and improve sleep quality. Eat pumpkin help you relax and unwind after long fasting.
