KOMPAS.com – Beef rib soup is a menu that can be served at special dinners such as Christmas.
Beef rib soup is made with beef ribs, potatoes, carrots, spring onions, celery, fried shallots, garlic, pepper, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and salt.
Beef rib soup can be served with chili sauce then sprinkled with fried shallots.

Material:
- 500 grams of beef ribs, choose the ones with a lot of meat, cut into 5 cm pieces and remove the fat
- 200 grams carrots, diced
- 200 grams potatoes, diced
- 1 spring onion, cut into 1 cm pieces
- 2 stalks celery, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp fried shallots
- 2.5 liters of water
Spice:
- 5 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 5 cardamom pods
- 5 cloves
- 3 cm cinnamon
- 1 tbsp salt
