Becoming a Trend, Oat Milk Coffee is Effective for Heart and Gut Health

Instead of mixing coffee with sugar and creamer, it would be better to mix coffee with oat milk. Apart from tasting better, it also has more benefits.

For some people, starting the morning is incomplete without drinking coffee. The caffeine content in coffee is effective in generating energy and stamina before activities.

However, the benefits of coffee can be damaged if it is mixed with additional ingredients such as sugar, milk or creamer. To make it healthier, you can add oat milk which can be used as a substitute for whipped cream, milk or sweetened condensed milk.

Maybe the combination of coffee and oat milk derived from oatmeal sounds strange. However, this mixture can provide health benefits for the body, as quoted from Medical News Today.

Remembering that coffee contains a lot nutritionsuch as riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin (vitamin B3), and a number of magnesium, potassium and antioxidants which are good for the body.

Meanwhile, oat milk contains fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. This drink, which is usually part of the breakfast menu, is efficacious in preventing body inflammation, increasing energy and encouraging metabolism.

Oat milk or wheat milk is a type of plant-based milk. This type of milk is usually used as an alternative to cow’s milk. This oat milk has higher calories, carbohydrates and fiber than cow’s, soy or almond milk.

To produce this menu, Tomoro Coffee collaborated with Oatside a healthy oat milk product. There are two menus you can try, namely Manuka Oat Latte and Hōjicha Oat Latte, priced at IDR 28,000 for the regular size and IDR 32,000 for the large size.

Both drinks are also beneficial for health, such as improving heart health and having a much lower fat content than regular dairy milk.

In addition, the presence of a mixture of manuka honey will improve intestinal health because it contains probiotics. Meanwhile, the hojicha mixture contains theanine which can help reduce stress and anxiety.
