1. Not drinking enough water

The need for hydration or drinking enough water has a big influence on skin moisture. When the body is dehydrated, the skin will become drier and lose moisture.

“It is very important to drink enough water throughout the day to keep the body hydrated. Drinking water not only keeps the body’s cells functioning optimally but also keeps the skin hydrated,” said Sarah Allen as a dermatologist.

As much as 60% of the human body contains water, so the body’s need for hydration must be maintained. Drink at least 8 glasses of mineral water per day to keep your hydration needs met.

2. Eat less fish

Fish is a source of food that is high in protein and healthy fats. Nutritionists recommend consuming at least 226 grams of fish a week for adults to meet their body’s needs.

Several types of fish contain good fats to support the health of almost all body organs. The oil or fat in fish contains DHA and EPA omega-3 fatty acids which are very healthy.

Fat is usually avoided because it can trigger various negative effects on the body, but fat or fish oil is actually recommended. Fish fat or oil can improve cardiovascular health, skin moisture and mental health.
