Although Greek yogurt looks healthy, many yogurt products on the market contain additional sugar in high amounts. Likewise with granola products that are often coupled with sugar.

Sanjay revealed that the high levels of hidden sugar can damage heart health in the long run. Because, a surge of blood sugar can cause inflammation, increased blood pressure, and also cholesterol.

Therefore, it is also recommended to check the product label, especially the additional sugar and sweetener. We recommend choosing yogurt and granola products without additional sweeteners.

In addition to yogurt and granola products, there are also agave syrup products that are usually used as additional sweeteners. This syrup is often considered a healthier option because it is made from agave plants that have a sweeter taste than honey.
