The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Bali invites the community to welcome the Governor and Deputy Governor of Bali for the period 2024-2029, Wayan Koster and I Nyoman Giri Prasta, after the inauguration in Jakarta. The inauguration of the Koster-Giri is scheduled to take place on February 6, 2024.
“It is invited to people who want to welcome the Governor and Deputy Governor of Bali when returning from Jakarta after the inauguration ceremony,” said Head of the General Bureau and Protocol I Wayan Budiasa, Friday (1/24/2025).
Budiasa emphasized that the Bali Provincial Government did not hold a special welcoming event. However, the community is advised to maintain order during the reception.

The Acting Head of the Bali Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) also revealed that the Acting (PJ) of the Governor of Bali, Sang Made Mahendra Jaya, had begun to gradually packaged his belongings from the house position and office of the Governor’s office.
“The use of the office ended on February 6 when the Governor and Deputy Governor of Bali had been inaugurated,” he said.
The Bali Provincial Government has made a number of preparations ahead of the inauguration, including the maintenance of houses and coordination with the Presidential Palace protocol related to the inauguration ceremony.
The handover ceremony between the Acting Governor and the definitive governor will be held on February 7 at the Wiswa Sabha Utama Building, the Bali Governor’s Office.
“The plan is to be held on Friday 7 February,” he concluded.
