KOMPAS.com – Fierce tamarind is one of the typical cuisine of Central Java made with the main ingredient of chicken.
Fierce chicken is cooked with red onion, garlic, large red chili, turmeric, galangal, vegetable starfruit, bay leaves, and cayenne pepper.
Fierce chicken tamarind wrapped in banana leaves then steamed for 30 minutes, serve with warm rice.

Material:
- 1 chicken (cut into 12 parts, without head and neck)

- 6 shallots, thinly sliced

Tips:
