Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Another content about Indonesian restaurants abroad that is in the spotlight on line. This time, it was the turn of a culinary business called Restaurant Djakarta Taste, located in Quebec, Canada, which attracted attention after being reviewed by local content creator G Hobs.
Through his social media upload, January 9 2024, he reviewed an Indonesian restaurant which he said was “quite empty of visitors.” The video begins by showing the outside of the restaurant, followed by the dining room without a single diner inside.
There were at least eight menus that he tried at the restaurant. “Appetizers,” even though Indonesians don’t recognize this in their eating culture, are fried foods. There are bakwan, spring rolls and martabak, each of which was rated by the content creator with scores of 6, 8 and 9 out of 10.
Continuing, he ate quite a large portion of fried rice, added fried eggs, and sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. “The presentation was crazy,” he said. “This restaurant’s food is too good for a restaurant that is empty of visitors,” adding that the fried rice was rated 9.8 out of 10.
He also assessed the fried egg separately, recording a score of 7 out of 10. The 6th dish eaten was satay, complete with vegetables instead of pickles, and white rice. “Why do all the dishes look beautiful,” he said, while turning the plate containing the satay.
“The chicken (in satay) is really tender, 8.2 out of 10,” he wrote. “Then, Indonesian rice, 8.7 out of 10.” Lastly, he didn’t miss the opportunity to eat dessert.
