The recapitulation results of the vote tally for the 2024 Badung Regent Election (Pilbup) show that pair number two, I Wayan Adi Arnawa-I Bagus Alit Subuat (Adi-Cipta) is ahead. The pair supported by the PDIP, as well as the Democrats, PBB, Perindo and the Gelora Party received 221,802 valid votes.
“We have finished recapitulating the votes in Badung. So, candidate pair number two, both the Pilgub and Pilbup Badung, received the most votes,” said Chairman of the Badung KPU I Gusti Ketut Gede Yusa Arsana Putra, after the plenary meeting, Wednesday (4/12/ 2024).
Yusa Arsana Putra added that pair number one, Wayan Suyasa-I Putu Alit Yandinata (Suyadinata) only got 94,005 votes. The Adi-Cipta pair controls the votes in all sub-districts in Gumi Keris.

Yusa Arsana detailed that Wayan Suyasa-Alit Yandinata received 27,033 votes in Mengwi District, 22,562 votes in Abiansemal, 4,970 votes in Petang, 17,115 votes in South Kuta, 6,421 votes in Kuta, and 15,904 votes in North Kuta. So the total received 94,005 votes.
Meanwhile, Adi Arnawa-Alit Subuat received 63,184 votes in Mengwi District, 45,799 votes in Abiansemal, 17,160 votes in Petang, 41,179 votes in South Kuta, 20,014 votes in Kuta, and 34,466 votes in North Kuta. So their total vote was 221,802.
“In the Badung Pilbup, there were a total of 322,073 votes. That is, there were 315,807 valid votes. Meanwhile, there were 6,266 invalid votes,” said Agung Yusa.
According to him, the plenary meeting went smoothly. The results of the vote calculation recap will be submitted to the Bali KPU tonight for further processing.
“The determination of the elected regent will be carried out on December 16 2024. This will be done through a closed plenary meeting after it is registered with the KPU,” explained Yusa.
Yusa Arsana Putra said that for the Bali gubernatorial election, the pair Wayan Koster-I Nyoman Giri Prasta (Koster Giri) was ahead in Badung by getting 204,186 votes. They overthrew their rivals, Made Muliawan Arya-Putu Agus Suradnyana, who received 111,062 votes.
