Acehnese Culture Reduces the Attack of Coffee International Network

Jakarta – Vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno visited Aceh and had a dialogue in a coffee shop. Here he saw that the culture of drinking coffee was very strong, this culture could even prevent the penetration of giant coffee business networks across countries. This needs to be transmitted to other provinces.

“The Acehnese culture of sipping local coffee should spread to other regions in Indonesia. This not only drives the economy and creates jobs, but also reduces the onslaught of international coffee chains,” said Sandi at Warung Kopi Duek Pakat, Jl Lamteeh, Banda Aceh, Friday (3/5/2019).

He speaks in the OK OCE dialogue. He was amazed at the people of Aceh who were able to maintain their culinary assets, in this case coffee shops. If Aceh’s coffee shop culture spreads to other areas, the welfare of coffee farmers and their descendants could be raised, even reaching the international coffee stage.

According to Sandi, the taste of Aceh sanger coffee is not inferior to cappuccino, in fact sanger is more suited to the Indonesian tongue. “This Sanger must be patented, it is one of Aceh’s rich coffee blends. Because it tastes special,” said Sandi.
The potential of Acehnese coffee and noodles as well as other culinary delights also holds economic potential. Plus, Aceh has natural resources. He hopes that society can develop this potential into a better economic business.

“So with conditions like this, many new small and medium entrepreneurs should be born in Aceh. And that is not impossible. Through OK OCE, there will be growth in entrepreneur new ones that drive Aceh’s economy which will absorb more workers, such as Warung Kopi Deuk Pakat,” said Sandi.
