Aceh Fried Noodles Recipe, a dish rich in spices, you can use yellow noodles


KOMPAS.com – Acehnese noodles are known to be rich in spices, with noodles that are thicker and larger compared to regular instant noodles.

This filling dish can be made at home, with added proteins such as shrimp and beef. For this recipe, you can use ready-to-use wet yellow noodles.

Material:

  • 400 gr wet yellow noodles ready to use
  • 150 gr typical beef (cut into small cubes)
  • 150 gr fresh shrimp (wash, peel, cut in half but not broken)
  • 100 gr bean sprouts (wash, drain)
  • 100 gr cabbage (wash, drain)
  • 1,000 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp sliced ​​spring onions
  • 2 tbsp sliced ​​celery
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

Ground spice ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp sliced ​​red onion
  • 3 tbsp sliced ​​garlic
  • 3 tbsp red chili
  • 1 tbsp sliced ​​turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt

Other seasoning ingredients:

Supplementary materials:

  • Fried chips to taste
  • Fried onions to taste (for sprinkling)
  • 2 tbsp sliced ​​celery leaves
  • Pickled cucumber to taste

How to make Acehnese fried noodles

  1. Pour oil into a frying pan to heat. Pour in the ground spices, saute until aromatic.
  2. Add shrimp and meat, cook until half cooked. Pour in water, cover the pan for about 10 minutes so that the meat is tender.
  3. Add cabbage, cook until wilted. Next, add the yellow noodles, spring onions, vinegar, celery, stir again until all the ingredients are evenly cooked and absorbed well. Remove, serve with a sprinkling of fried onions, celery and chips.
