DENPASAR, BALIPOST. com – The Denpasar Festival (Denfest) every year becomes a culinary hunting event that should not be missed. From traditional dishes to contemporary creations, everything is served to pamper visitors’ taste buds.

Apart from the main food, this annual festival which is held from 22 to 25 December also presents various dessert stands that tempt the taste buds.

1. Sweets by Puspa

One of the stands that attracted attention was Sweets by Puspa, owned by Luh Komang Puspa Handayani, a Denpasar resident.

Starting the business in 2021, this business was born from the owner’s hobby of making desserts.

Some of the menus offered at this stand include brownies, mascarpone cheesecake, and coffee soaked dessert. Apart from that, there are also several other variants that are no less tempting.

The price of each menu is quite affordable, starting from IDR 18,000 to IDR 25,000. Even though they usually only serve online purchases, this time Sweets by Puspa is present at Denfest to serve visitors directly. Don’t miss this opportunity to try their desserts!

2. Screpes

The next stand that is worth trying is Screpes, which is manned by Dian, a resident of Karangasem. This business started in 2018 as an activity to fill free time and eventually became a business that continues to grow.

Screpes offers various types of menus, such as crispy mushrooms, sausages, potatoes, mochi, corndogs, kebabs, burgers, and of course crepes.

The crepes menu is their best seller, with flavors such as chocolate, banana cheese, and many more. Menu prices at Screpes range from IDR 20,000 to IDR 35,000 only.

3. Buhar Dessert Stall

Lastly, there is Warung Buhar Dessert, which offers a wide selection of delicious desserts. One of the stand employees, Elita, explained that this stall serves menus such as fruit salad, macaroni brulee, and the currently popular dessert, namely Dubai chocolate.

Apart from that, there are many other dessert choices that you can try. Menu prices at Warung Buhar Dessert vary widely, starting from IDR 7,000 to IDR 80,000, so they are suitable for all groups.
