Difficulty sleeping is often experienced by many people. If you want to sleep better, you can do it by consuming this healthy and delicious drink.
Insomnia is an ongoing problem of insomnia. This problem of insomnia is usually related to lack of sleep, depression, anxiety, and chronic illness.
Reporting from the Mirror (23/9), this problem of insomnia can be overcome naturally. One of them is by consuming healthy drinks with delicious flavors.
Many people know that chamomile tea is very good for treating insomnia. However, it turns out that not only one type of tea, but almost all types of tea have the same benefits.
This was explained by Dr Tim Bond, a tea researcher and chemist on the Tea Advisory Panel (TAP). He explains, “Drink all types of tea regularly, including a regular cup of tea.”
Bond also said that this tea can be drunk with or without milk. The tea is consumed to help relieve stress and anxiety which are the main causes of lack of sleep.
This has also been reported in research on the Tea Advisory Panel, ‘Sleep, Stress, Anxiety, and Tea’. That, almost half (42 percent) of British adults think that drinking tea helps relieve stress and anxiety which is the cause of insomnia.
This TAP report identified various trials using various types of tea and showed significant results in improving sleep quality. Types of tea that have been proven include chamomile and lavender tea. Other types, such as black tea and green tea, are also beneficial for sleep.
This trial was carried out for 3 weeks and found that drinking 5 cups of green tea per day could improve sleep quality. Another study found that black tea containing GABA (a neurotransmitter) significantly increased sleep time.
The L-theanine content in black tea is also good for improving sleep quality. The time for sleeping is shortened, so you no longer experience insomnia.
