According to Nutritionist Katie Sanger, MS, MA, RDN, LDN, white tea made very carefully, with leaves that are picked gently and dried in the air until it reaches a perfect humidity level. Tea leaves that are still covered in fine white feathers make it called ‘white tea.’

Sanger also mentioned that white tea can help lower cholesterol and increase blood circulation.
