TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – There are various food menus to entertain the leaders of G20 countries, international organizations and other guests at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), Badung Regency, Bali Province, Tuesday (15/11) evening.
This banquet was held as part of the peak event of the G20 Summit in Bali.
According to information from the G20 communications team received by the Tribune, Wednesday (16/11) at the G20 Summit dinner, the invitees were served food from various regions, namely Bali, Java, North Sulawesi, Lampung, West Sumatra, North Sumatra and Aceh.
As an appetizer, the G20 leaders enjoyed “Assorted
Ratna Mutumanikam” (diversity in one) which consists of mango, seaweed, salad with Balinese rujak seasoning, and Manado crab meat corn fritters.
Meanwhile, for the main course, there are Lampung wagyu beef tenderloin, Padang rendang, cassava and potato mousseline, asparagus in Balinese turmeric sauce, and balado eggplant puree.
As for the dessert menu, the invitees enjoyed Acehnese chocolate mousse, tuille rice, black sticky rice with grated coconut, and mango coulis.
In the activity which was held at a well-known location in Bali, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Mrs. Iriana looked harmonious wearing traditional Balinese clothing.
The President and Mrs. Iriana then welcomed the arrival of the guests while taking photos together with the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue in the background.

“Leaders of the G20 countries, guests, international organizations, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your presence at Garuda Wisnu Kencana,” said the President in his remarks before starting the dinner.
The President also explained the meaning of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue to the invited guests present. According to the President, the meaning of the GWK statue is in line with the duties that leaders carry out towards the world and humanity.
“In Balinese mythology, this statue depicts love, responsibility, courage and devotion. “This is our duty to the world and humanity,” said the President.
President Jokowi then invited the invited guests to eat the dishes that had been prepared and hoped that the dishes would suit the tastes of the invited guests.
“Please enjoy the dishes we have prepared for you. “I hope it won’t be too spicy for Your Majesty,” said the President.
After dinner, the heads of delegations and invited guests were treated to various cultural performances.
