Some people may have a condition where their body often feels hungry suddenly or never feels full after eating. You need to be careful about this because it can disrupt your overall health.

Apart from consulting a doctor, another way to overcome this is by consuming foods that can suppress natural appetite.

A bariatric surgeon and medical director of the Memorial Care Surgical Weight Loss Center at Orange Coast Medical center, Mir Ali, MD recommends that everyone consume lots of protein and high fiber foods because they can make you full longer.

If you have consumed a lot of protein and fiber but still feel hungry, it’s a good idea to add one or two natural appetite suppressants to your daily menu.

One of the compounds contained in it is catechin, which can help regulate hunger and increase metabolism. This tea also contains a small amount of caffeine which can curb appetite temporarily.

If you often feel hungry or don’t feel full, try consuming this green tea.

2. Coffee

Coffee is often a mainstay because its caffeine content can increase energy.

Apart from these benefits, coffee consumption can also act as a natural appetite suppressant.

Nutritionist Gans revealed that the caffeine in coffee can help suppress appetite, but the effect is likely to only last in the short term.

Coffee also stimulates thermogenesis (the process of producing heat in the body) which can make a person feel full.

According to a 2020 study in the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research, drinking at least 200 to 250 ml of coffee every day can help you lose weight. However, keep in mind, the benefits will be more effective if the coffee is drunk just like that without adding any sweeteners.
