This program collaborates with renowned Japanese chefs, Chef Hiroki ‘Hulk’ Kato and Chef Edi Pancamala from Indonesia.
The two collaborated to showcase their cooking skills to create a series of delicious dishes using Australian beef from Queensland.
The two great chefs have curated various special menus that will be served with a Japanese touch. Carrying the theme ‘From Tokyo to Jakarta Culinary Journey’, Chef Hiroki ‘Hulk’ Kato and Chef Edi Pancamala will show the versatility and quality of Australian beef through their dishes.
Before tasting the special menu handmade by Chef Edi Pancamala and Chef Hiroki ‘Hulk’ Kato, the invited guests who attended also heard a talk show session with nutritionist Emilia Elfiranti Achmadi regarding ‘Food Quality’.
After that, there was a demonstration of cutting King River wagyu beef which is a typical meat from Queensland, Australia. Chief Representative MLA Indonesia, Christian Haryanto explained that King River meat is the best quality meat produced by Queensland.
“King River is beef from Queensland. “Later, friends who attend will also be able to enjoy wagyu from this typical Queensland beef,” said Chetistian Haryanto at the Aussie Beef Mates ‘From Tokyo to Jakarta Culinary Journey’ at Mercure Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Wednesday (8/5/2024) .
Christian Haryanto revealed that Chef Edi Pancamala and Chef Hiroki ‘Hulk’ Kato will process the meat into a typical Japanese menu that is authentic and delicious because it uses quality King River wagyu meat that is famous in Queensland, Australia.
“This Wagyu is really good, so later Chef Edi and Chef Kato will create a menu made in Japanese style. “So because the chef is also brought directly from Japan, the taste is certainly authentic Japanese,” he said.
