Squid Satay with Basil Seasoning

1/2 kg squid
1/2 ounce red chili
4 devil/cayenne peppers
8 red onion cloves
5 cloves of garlic
1 tsp oyster sauce
A little sweet soy sauce
2 candlenuts
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 segment of ginger
1 galangal segment
2 stalks lemongrass
2 bay leaves
3 lime leaves
Salt and seasoning to taste
How to Make Squid Satay with Basil Seasoning
- Remove squid ink, wash clean. Heat water and add crushed ginger, bay leaves and a pinch of salt. Boil the squid until soft and absorbed. Drain, then skewer like satay.
- Grind all the spices and wash the basil.
- Heat the oil, then saute the ground spices until fragrant.
- Add a little water, sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- Add squid. Cook until the spices are absorbed. Remove, then serve warm.
