I Wayan Manik Amerta or familiarly called Manik, is struggling to win the Masterchef Indonesia season 12. This young man from Bali wants to prove with a combination of education and work experience in the culinary world, he is able to compete in the prestigious event.

For Manik, Masterchef Indonesia is not just a cooking competition, but also a stepping stone to achieve his dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur in the culinary industry. Although this event is known for high pressure and fierce competition, Manik claimed to be ready to face challenges and show his best abilities.

With the experience of working in several well -known restaurants in Bali, Manik is optimistic that he can compete with other participants and prove that he deserves to be the best at Masterchef Indonesia Season 12.

Education

Manik is a graduate of one of the Catering Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Bali. From the beginning, he did have a great interest in the culinary world, so he chose to study in that field.

After graduating, Manik immediately jumped into the culinary industry by working in various restaurants. This experience gave him the opportunity to continue to hone his skills and deepen the science of cooking, making him more ready to face challenges in the professional world.

Work

Despite gathering experiences working in the kitchen of various restaurants in Bali, the manic journey in the culinary world is not always smooth. One of the biggest challenges is to get the blessing of the mother, especially when she plans to migrate and work outside the island of Bali.

As the first child as well as his mother’s favorite, Manik always gets full attention from the mother, who is reluctant to see him away. In fact, his dream of working on a cruise ship must be buried because his mother was not willing to separate for a long time. Even so, Manik still tries to pursue his dreams in the culinary world in a way that his family can accept.

“Then at first I had also wanted to go to a cruise ship, just not given. So, the language used to be like a vocational school, you just work in Bali. In Bali there is a lot of money. Depending on how you find the money. Like that he said, “Manik said to Okezone in Jakarta, recently.

Manik finally decided to keep a career in Bali in honor of the mother’s wishes. But over time, he chose to resign from his job in a restaurant and try his luck in the business world.

With a strong determination, beads pioneered a business as a supplier of chicken. He proved that passion in the culinary world can be realized in a different way.

“So initially the family background was indeed selling chicken, especially my mother. My mother went to the market every morning selling chicken. So, I think everything needs chicken, “he said Manik.

Until now, the chicken supplier business that was pioneered by Manik has been running for about four years. His business developed rapidly, supplying chicken to several well -known restaurants in Bali. Interestingly, one of his clients is a restaurant owned by Hovit, a fellow Masterchef Indonesia season 12 participant. This adds to his color in his journey in the prestigious cooking competition.
