Then there are also families who leave food in the form of snacks, vegetables and fruit for the prisoners.

Not only food, prison officials also allow families to send items that do not violate the rules.

However, everything that is entrusted to prisoners must go through specified procedures.

First, food and goods must be contained in boxes and undergo manual inspection.

After that, the deposit must be examined using an X-Ray machine.

“We put it in an X-Ray machine, then it can be sent to each detention center,” said Fauzi.

Apart from food storage, corruption prisoners at the KPK Detention Center are also given the opportunity to visit their families.

According to Fauzi, each family is allowed to visit from morning, 10.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB.

The visiting hours are limited because the number of prisoners in the KPK Detention Center is not too large, namely 89 people.
