The tradition of eating Yu Sheng is usually done in a group with family and loved ones on Chinese New Year. How to eat is somewhat unique. First, pour every conductor or complement while saying the prayers and hopes of the new year one by one.
Then mixed together using chopsticks while high school as much as 7 times by shouting “lo hi!”. The stirring process must be done high, because the higher the mortar, the greater the hope for luck.
“If according to trust the higher in Toss, the luck is getting higher too. So sometimes it usually reaches the ceiling (ceiling),” said Head Chef Naga Eight, Andrianus Indarto.
Then share the mixed Yu Sheng according to the number of people who also eat together.
With the tradition of Yu Sheng, Chinese New Year celebrations feel warm with the togetherness and hopes for good things next year.
