KOMPAS.com – After the New Year’s party, make sure to immediately clean the grilling equipment, one of which is the charcoal grill.
If the ash from charcoal is not cleaned immediately, it can accumulate and stick to food if it is used again.

1. Remove the ashes
When the grill has cooled, use a small shovel and bucket to scoop out the ashes.
2. Prepare dish soap
Fill a bucket with water and a few drops of dish soap.

3. Remove the grill grates
Remove the grill grates and place them in the soapy water.

4. Clean the inside of the grill
Dip a scrub brush in soapy water and clean the inside of the grill thoroughly.
Rinse well with clean water and dry thoroughly with a clean microfiber towel.

5. Clean the grill grates
Scrub the grill grates with a scrub brush. Rinse the grates and rods with clean water, dry, and return to the grill.
