Fruit Sauce Milk Pudding Recipe, Fresh and Easy to Make


KOMPAS.com – After eating delicious meat, chicken and grilled corn, it’s time to refresh your body by enjoying milk pudding with fruit sauce.

This menu is suitable for those of you who want to serve healthy and delicious snacks for your family, especially children. Moreover, there is a combination of milk and fruit.

The following is the recipe, quoted from the book “365 Menu for Successful MP-ASI for 1 year for Babies Aged 7-18 months” (2014) by Hindah J. Muaris published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama via Kompas.comSaturday (1/10/2022).

Milk pudding ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons powdered milk (dissolve in 250 milliliters of warm water)
  • 100 milliliters of apple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pack of colorless gelatin
  • 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 mint leaves
  • 2 egg yolks (beaten)
  • 2 egg whites (beaten)
  • 100 grams kiwi (diced)
  • 100 grams strawberries (thinly cut)

Fruit sauce ingredients:

  • 5 tablespoons strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch or cornstarch (dissolve in a little water)
  • 100 grams strawberries (cut into small cubes)

How to make fruit sauce milk pudding

  1. Combine milk, apple juice, vanilla, gelatin powder, and mint leaves in a saucepan. Cook over low heat while stirring until it boils. Make sure the milk doesn’t break. After that, throw away the mint leaves.
  2. Take a spoonful of vegetable mixture, then mix it into the beaten egg yolk. Stir well, then pour back into the pan containing the gelatin mixture. Stir gently until evenly mixed.
  3. Let the mixture cool slightly. After that, pour in the beaten egg whites and stir gently. Add kiwi fruit pieces and strawberries.
  4. Pour the mixture into the mold, then store in the refrigerator until set.
  5. Fruit sauce. Mix strawberry jam and cornstarch dissolved in a little water in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until thickened.
  6. Add small diced strawberries, stir briefly, then remove from heat.
  7. Remove the pudding from the mold, then serve with fruit sauce drizzled on top. Garnish with mint leaves for a more attractive appearance.
