The way to do this is by strictly controlling your calorie intake. It is estimated that IU only consumes 500 kcal per day, said Channel Korea. The menu consists of 1 apple for breakfast, 2 sweet potatoes for lunch, and 1 bottle of protein shake for dinner.

IU admitted that she needed to lose weight because she was going to star in a drama at that time. In the same year, IU also received a lot of harsh criticism from netizens who thought her body weight had increased.
