Ginger Walnut Cake Recipe, Easy to Make Christmas Snack


KOMPAS.com – It’s never too late to serve gingerbread cookies at Christmas. The following walnut ginger cake recipe is simple, you can make it during the day to serve it tonight.

Some of the ingredients needed here are wheat flour, ginger powder, cinnamon powder, baking powderpalm sugar and peeled walnuts.

After the ginger walnut cake is cooked, you can store it in a jar as a family snack stock.

Ginger Walnut Cake Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of palm sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 100 grams of peeled walnuts

1. Mix flour, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and baking powder while sifting, then set aside.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and palm sugar until soft, then add the egg yolks, and beat again until evenly mixed.

3. Add the sifted flour mixture little by little, then stir until the mixture is evenly mixed.

4. Wrap the dough and freeze, then cut the dough into small triangles, and place the walnuts in the middle of the dough.

5. Bake the mixture in the oven until cooked, then let it cool to room temperature before serving.
