Pineapple Chicken Stir-Fry Recipe, Savory Sour Side Dish for Dinner


KOMPAS.com – If you are confused about what side dishes to serve for family dinner at home, stir-fried pineapple chicken is interesting to make.

Similar to sweet and sour dishes in general, stir-fry seasoning sauce is added with chili sauce and pineapple pieces so that the sour taste is fresher.

Pineapple chicken stir fry ingredients:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (clean and cut into pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 egg white
  • Cornstarch to taste
  • Sufficient cooking oil

Stir fry seasoning ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 3 red onions (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons Bangkok chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 2 spring onions (sliced)
  • 50 milliliters of clean water
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 fresh pineapple (sliced ​​into fan shape)
  • 2 stalks coriander leaves (sliced)

1. Slice the chicken thinly then coat with oyster sauce, then dip the meat in egg white then continue to coat the meat with cornstarch.

2. Fry the chicken in hot oil until evenly cooked, then remove and set aside.

3. In a separate pan, saute the shallots until fragrant, then add the chili sauce, honey, sweet soy sauce, green onions, water, paprika and pineapple. Cook while stirring until all ingredients are mixed evenly.

4. Correct with additional salt and seasoning, then remove from heat and serve while warm.
